Judgment is the source of all conflict. It is the initiator of separation consciousness and fear. Judgment divides, joy unites. Judgment is like a virus spreading silently throughout mass consciousness. It creates suffering. The Day of Rage in Syria exemplifies this. Conversely, The Royal Wedding in London between Prince William and Catherine Middleton, now H.R.H The Duchess of Cambridge, symbolises the joy of unity consciousness.
Judgment demands punishment. Presently, in Syria, there have been deaths amongst civilian protesters and the security forces. Anger, when used constructively, can be a great initiator for change. Ghandhi’s non-violent protests in India, in the first half of the twentieth century, provide a template for the successful implementation of political change. When anger is used in punishment, it becomes destructive and harmful. Retaliation is not protest. It is punishment by people who judge others guilty of not behaving in ways they want them to.In contrast, joy is a magnetiser to more joy. Thousands of people gathered in London and streets all over the country to celebrate the union of two people in love. People were united in their joy. The Oneness of Being shared in London was absent in Syria.
On Friday, protesters left prayers in Syria, to oppose and on occasion, to kill fellow countrymen and women. People left prayer in London to celebrate with each other the unity and joy which are found when love is present.
Every day we are presented with a choice to live in judgment and struggle or with joy, which feels best? Judgment is the product of a mind that believes itself separate from the Oneness of Being, whereas Joy is the core essence of our Being. It is where the Light of our shared consciousness and True Power resides.
There is a purpose to judgment. It is the darkness which enables you to see your Light. Bless it. Then decide judgment or joy? The choice is yours!
