True Power is Living in Harmlessness

Media attention on the forthcoming anniversary of the 9/11 attacks in New York in 2001, reminds us about living in harmlessness.  It is True Power in action.

The core dynamic of the attacks was judgment, the unavoidable consequence of which is harm.  Al Queda planners and hijackers judged “America” wrong for its beliefs.  Judgment demands punishment.  Evidence of this was the hijacking of four aircraft, the attacks on the twin towers and Pentagon plus the fourth plane crash. Great loss and suffering resulted.  Whilst great acts of courage, sacrifice, kindness and generosity were also activated, the harm caused was extensive.  The attacks were the deliberate infliction of harm by individuals who were not aligned with their authentic power.

Ten years have passed since those events, what has humanity learned about living in harmlessness, non-judgment, compassion or working for the greater good of all life?

Living harmlessly applies personally too.  People can harm themselves by things such as self-criticism, over-eating, failing to set boundaries around their work and or their time; allowing themselves to become depleted, stressed, irritable with others and perhaps, depressed.  When you are aligned with your True Power, living harmlessly is inevitable.

Are there any areas in your life where you are harming yourself, such as finding fault, not honouring or valuing yourself?  Have you behaved in ways that are potentially harmful to others, for example by turning a blind eye, insults, bullying or trying to manipulate people?  If so, it is important not to judge yourself.  Set the intention to change your behaviour and do so. If you believe you have inflicted harm upon someone, apology and amends can clear the energy. However, it is important to exercise discernment.

The lessons of 9/11 are about living in harmony and harmlessness as one global community upon this beautiful planet of ours.  Where there is judgment, harmony and harmlessness are impossible.  Have you learned the lessons?   Are you standing in the light of true power?  If not, now is a great moment to choose to do so, if it feels right.

You can begin to eliminate stress at work by becoming aware that the continuous stream of thoughts is not you. You are more than your thoughts and feelings.
