With news of floods, famine and financial crises, it is easy to forget that life is to be enjoyed not endured. Joy is a word that is seldom used in our media. The importance of living and working joyfully is not usually stressed in our formal education and upbringing, yet it is essential to good health and well-being. The core essence of your Being is joy, which can only be experienced not taught. The more you focus upon joy, the more you integrate and align with your true nature and power.
Being joyful is your protection against the more turbulent times. Joy is an attractor and an energiser. It is a very effective de-stressor. Certainly, times are challenging. Humanity is undergoing a massive shift in consciousness. Mankind is evolving from the fear based conditioning of the linear, logical mind to the intuitive knowing and power of heart centred consciousness. When this occurs joy is inevitable. It is possible to know joy, even in circumstances which seem hopeless, tragic or painful. This may sound strange but it is not. You can choose to make a conscious decision to shift your perception, whenever your mood drops. Be willing to acknowledge what you appreciate in your life and be grateful for it. The doors to joy and abundance can be opened if this practise is followed and appreciation expressed sincerely.
Focussing on the negatives in life usually creates a spiral of fear, gloom and despair, which is de-energising. Acknowledge what is but then inject balance by counting your blessings also.
Life is good, if you choose to see it through the lens of the now moment and positivity. You may be feeling frightened, angry, grieving but these feelings will pass. There will always be something which gives you joy, if you choose to see it.
I invite you to focus on your joy and note how much more you attract into your life! To do this is true power in action!
