Fear is not man’s natural state of consciousness yet most people remain enthralled to fear despite its deleterious effects upon health, well-being and profits. Fear is power given away. It is joyless and displays to other people the absence of personal integrity and power.
Fear can also be costly in human, corporate and financial terms. The current scandal engulfing Olympus regarding a huge investment cover-up highlights this. The company has admitted using over-priced acquisitions and consultants fees to hide losses. Olympus is now suing 19 current and former executives for $215 million in damages. This resulted in a loss of, confidence and corporate reputation and adversely affected pocket and profits. The scandal came to light after Michael Woodford, the company's first non-Japanese president, went public to the international media when he was sacked by the company in October. He too, now plans to sue the company for firing him.Backlash, dishonesty, turning a blind-eye and covering up one’s action due to fear of scrutiny are only some of the many disguises of fear. Are you aware of whether and if so, how fear operates in your life? Do you know what it is costing you personally, socially and perhaps financially?
Fear erodes self-respect and self-esteem. It can lead to ill health and unhappiness, plus much more besides. Fear does not serve you. Release it and allow the power of pure consciousness to be revealed and experienced. Naturally, survival fears cannot be released. They protect, they do not paralyse.
Mankind is currently in the process of releasing the mechanisms of fear. It is old energy and no longer serves us. As the world’s media continues to disclose stories of fear, greed, abuse of power and the consequent costs, people are being stimulated to evolve to a higher state of consciousness. This includes acting with integrity, courage, honesty and kindness. It is so much cheaper and cost effective to do so. It is standing in True Power.
