True Power is expressed and freedom experienced, when you are able to live spontaneously in the moment without expectations, conditions or attachment to outcomes. It is to be in a state of total acceptance or non-resistance to what is, allowing life to flow as it will, without the need to impose self-will upon it.
As President Assad of Syria seeks to cling to the illusion of power, by trying to control protesters and events in Syria through media manipulation and military might, he displays to the world, the absence of authentic power, not the expression of it. The will to good is not present. His fear of being out of control is greater than his integrity. He remains enthralled to fear. He is neither free nor truly empowered. President Assad is creating chaos, the very thing most people fear.It is not easy to “let go of the reins.” Human beings have been conditioned to try and control their lives for millennia. Most people want to understand what is happening around them. They feel secure in what is familiar to them. However, true security is experienced when you allow what is to be. It is only then one is able to experience the invisible flow of life which holds the ever present energies of peace, freedom and the light of pure consciousness within it. Truth can only be experienced not taught.
No human being can control life. All the time you retain the belief and need to control events or others, you will never experience freedom or align with your true power. You will remain entrapped in the illusions of fear and control. Are you willing to release control and go with the flow of life? Do you trust yourself enough to do so? Do you fear that by relinquishing control your life will descend into chaos? Why not try it and see if this feels right to you. To do so is to begin to experience your true power and know truth, freedom and joy.
