Current events in Egypt remind us that “nothing which exists in matter lasts forever.” Scenes of the “people protests,” in Cairo are symbolic. They subliminally invite us to ask what does power and being empowered mean? A new way of holding and expressing power is being demanded on the streets of Egypt but what form will it take?
What does power mean to you? Is it freedom from fear? Is it feeling secure by having power over others? Is it consciously being able to create the life and work you love? What are your beliefs about power? Are they yours or are they sourced from other people? Are your beliefs about power connected to your beliefs about God, love, money and / or parents? What feelings accompany your thoughts about these themes? Do your feelings and beliefs about power reflect your personal truth or is it time for change. Are you ready to move beyond the limitations of beliefs into the true power of limitless consciousness?
It is human nature to resist change. To stay with what is familiar feels comfortable. It can feed the illusion of security. There is no security to be found in sources external to you. Authentic security comes from being aligned with your true power. It is accessed and experienced when your mind is still. To claim it requires the willingness to take full responsibility for your thoughts, feelings and behaviour and have fun whilst doing so.
Are you willing to claim the authentic power of your Being? Are you willing to be the best you can be in Joy for that is the expression of true power?
Are you ready to know yourself differently and to release that which no longer serves you?
