True Power includes empowering others even if it may seem to work against you. How do you empower yourself? Have you ever considered that self- empowerment includes helping others to claim their power even if it means the person you help leaving a relationship or developing work which competes with yours?
True Power means looking beyond appearances and seeing the opportunities adversity brings not only to empower yourself but other people also. Events in Japan, Libya and the Middle East demonstrate this. The courage being exercised by the 200 workers at the Fukushima nuclear plant in Japan, who are seeking to limit the damage from the reactors and restore power are an excellent example of selfless efforts to literally empower others, i.e. to switch the lights back on. The courage of the rebels in Libya to challenge Colonel Gaddafi and his regime together with the courage of the men and women in the coalition armed forces sent to protect the rebels from retaliation from forces loyal to Gaddafi, are also examples of helping to empower others at the risk to health and lives.
The motivation to help others however, needs to come from intuitive knowing of the heart rather than a co –dependent need to feel wanted and valued by other people.
We also assist people to empower themselves by not allowing ourselves to be manipulated, influenced or controlled by the fear based agendas of others whether intentional or not. You fuel a mass thought form of fear if you become fearful. True Power is found in the now moment. Fear is the emotion which arises in consequence of fearful thoughts. You are more than your thoughts. Detach and observe what you are thinking and then how you feel to see whether you are aligning with or detaching from the true power of your Being.
How will you empower yourself today? What will you do? How are you going to let the true power of your Light shine?
