True Power Strategies for preventing stress at work are very different indeed. They require an open mind, the willingness to know yourself very differently and take responsibility for your choices. Did you set your intention to be joyful and not feel stressed at work today? If not, why not? Energy follows thought. What you believe creates your reality.
Many individuals, myself included, for a number of years, remain attached to blaming others and holding them responsible for the stress they are feeling. It is to attach the identity of victim. Stress began to disappear when I decided to change my attitude to life, take responsibility for the way I felt and release the limiting beliefs I held.
Life just is. People are the way they are. I have choice whether I wish to be with them or not. I also have a choice as to my conditions of work, together with the way I feel and respond to events in my life.
The external world is a reflection of our internal world or state of consciousness. For example, if you are feeling stressed, angry and resentful at others for perhaps, not listening to you, valuing you or respecting you. This is reflection inviting you to look at the ways in which you are not listening to, respecting or valuing yourself. For example, are you able to set boundaries around your workloads and time? If not, why not? Do you believe you are worth your own time? Again, if not, why not?
There is a mass conscious belief that external factors such as people and circumstances are the cause of you feeling stressed. hey are not. In truth, you are responsible for how you feel, your beliefs and the choices you make in your life. The choice to eliminate stress at work is yours and yours alone!
